So, I have decided it is best to start a series here called "My Network" in this I will outline and provide an overview of my network. Furthermore, these posts will change as my network changes.

What runs it all?

So, where to begin. Here is an outline:

  • 10g 8 port backbone with LAG
    • TP-Link TL-SX3008F | 8 Port 10G SFP+ Enterprise Level Switch 
  • 1g with 4 sfp+
    • TP-Link TL-SG3428X | 24 Port Gigabit Switch, 4 x 10GE SFP+ Slots
  • 1g POE with 4 sfp 1g ports
    • TP-LINK JetStream 24-Port Gigabit Smart PoE+ Switch T1600G-28PS(TL-SG2424P)
• Compute
  • Dell Optiplex Series all at 32MB
    • 3 Dell Optiplex 7010 PC, i7@3.40GHz,
    • 1 Dell Optiplex 9020 MT Mini Tower Intel Core i7-4790S 3.2GHz 8MB
  • Virtualization
    • 4 ProxMox Servers as shown as Dell Optiplex.
• Storage Ceph and local ssd
  • Ceph 1.63 TiB running on SSD and USB attached storage
    • 
    • Currently ran by my ProxMox cluster.
  • Each ProxMox has 256 GB ssd running as boot disk.
